Meeting Minutes

New members:  None.

Old Business:

• Minutes- A motion was made and seconded to approve the minutes of the May 7, 2009 meeting as previously distributed.
• Financial Statements- Neal McGrath reported that the Club treasury had a balance of approximately $2,400 at the end of May.

• Gold Leader Club Pins Correction- In last months minutes I reported that those that did not receive a Gold Learder Club pin should contact Eric Walker.  I should have said you should contact Jim Farley.

New Business:

• Shaw Plant for Sale – The Shaw plant and related property now has a for sale sign.  While this may not be an immediate concern, please keep your eyes out for a possible alternative flying site.
• Fun Fly – A number of alternatives for a fun fly were discussed including starting early and having breakfast or starting late in the day and having hot dogs.  Jim Farley will be sending an email asking for your input.  Please let Jim know your thoughts.
• Airwolf Open House.   Jim Farley indicated that the Club has been invited to fly at the an open house at the Abbyville airport on June 13^th..  Jim will provide additional details in a separate email.
• Mike Hunt.  Jim Farley reported that Mike Hunt, a friend of the Club and sponsor of the Carolina Fest, died of cancer recently.

·        Next Meeting- The next meeting will be held at 6:00pm on Thursday July 2^th at the Anderson County Airport.
