Meeting Minutes

New members: One new member was approved, Brian Sugden.  Please make an effort to introduce yourself to Brian and welcome him to the Club.

Old Business:

• Minutes- The minutes of the September 3, 2009 meeting were read and approved.
• Financial Statements- Neal McGrath presented financial statements for the quarter ended September 30, 2009. He reported that the only financial activity for the quarter was the receipt of $80 of dues and payments for mowing and materials to repair the safety fence for the flying field leaving a balance in the treasury of $1,960. 

Fun Fly – Final preparations were discussed for the fun fly to be held Saturday October 17^th (subsequently postponed until October 24^th due to weather).

New Business:

• Christmas Party- It was decided that we would hold our annual Christmas party on December 3, 2009.
• New Officers- Officers will be elected at the November meeting.  At a minimum we will need nominations for President and Secretary / Treasurer.
• Dues-A discussion was held regarding the need to increase dues. It was concluded that dues would not be raised for the 2010 year.        

Announcements:

·        Next Meeting- The next meeting will be held at 6:00pm on Thursday January 7th at the Anderson County Airport.
