Minutes-
The minutes of the August meeting
were read and approved

Financial Statements-
No activity
leaving a balance of
$2478.17.

Temporary
Field-
Bill Kirkpatrick will
leave his radio and two pass cards at the main terminal. Bill gave a
brief instruction on the use of the radio. It is no longer necessary
to call the airport to notify them 24 hours before you are going to
fly. Just sign out the radio and pass card at the main terminal.
·
Other possible Fields-
Several other possibilities are
still being pursued. Bill will check out the county sewage treatment
plant area for possible use as a flying field. He will have some
information by the next meeting.
·
Club activities-
Bill will get information on the
Balloon Fest. There was some discussion of doing a show and tell for
a school or possibly the Boy Scouts in an effort to recruit new
members.
