suggested that if you have an interesting or unusual plane or project
that you are working on that you bring it to the meeting and share it
with the other Club members.
-
Fun Fly – It was tentatively
decided that we hold a Fun Fly for members only on April10, 2010.
There will be additional discussion regarding the format at
future meetings.
-
Civil Air Patrol (CAP) –
George Estes mentioned that a number of members of the CAP were
interested in RC flying and would like to receive lesions from our Club
instructors. After some
discussion it was concluded that this would be a good way to get younger
people interested in the Club.
It was decided that if we provided instruction that there would be an
expectation that the recipient would join the Club after a few lesions.
This raised the question as weather we should offer CAP members a
special membership rate or an annual fee that covers all CAP members.
It was concluded that some type of special arrangement would make
sense to attract younger members but the details of an arrangement will
be decided at the next meeting.
