Meeting Minutes

New members:  No new members

Old business:

• A motion was made and seconded to approve the minutes of the May 3, 2007 meeting.
• Runway maintenance was postponed until cooler weather in the fall with the exact date to be determined.

New Business:

• Neal McGrath reviewed the monthly and year-to-date financial statements for the month June and year-to-date.  A motion was made and seconded to approve the financial statements as presented.

• Because of light turnout, it was asked that students contact their instructor to confirm that they will be flying on Wednesday student pilot nights.
• Ken Whitfield reminded Club members of the dangers of flying alone.  Also, there was a discussion of weather we needed to install one or more pilot stations.  It was concluded that there was not enough interest at this time.

Announcements:

• There will be a Fly-in and swap meet in Cherokee NC June 24, 2007.  The field is approx. 3 miles West of Cherokee on Hwy 19 .
