Meeting
Minutes
New
members: Marcelo Candeo was approved as a new member.
Please take the time to introduce yourself to Marcelo at the
flying field.
Old
Business:
-
Minutes- The minutes of the May 6th meeting were read and
approved.
-
Financial Statements- Neal McGrath
reported that as of the end of May the treasury had a balance of
approximately $2,400.
-
Flying Field Status- As reported in an email from Bill
Kirkpatrick, First Quality Enterprises appears to be willing to
work with Tri-County R/C Flyers to find a location on their
property that will allow us to continue to fly.
While it may cause some short-term inconvenience for the
Club, it looks likely
that we will to be able to work out a long-term solution to our
flying field concerns.
Stay tuned.
New
Business: There was no new business.
Safety:
Safety Officer, Ken Whitfield,
reported that the safety benches have been turned around to face the
runway. To avoid the issue reported last month regarding the
instances of 2.4 GHz radios (receivers) going into fail safe mode it
is suggested that you use a 6 volt receiver battery.
Announcements:
·
Next Meeting- The next
meeting will be held at 6:00pm
on Thursday July 1st at
the
Anderson
County
Airport.
