Meeting Minutes
New members:
There were no new members.
Old Business:
- Minutes-
The previously distributed minutes of the February 7th
meeting were approved.
- Financial
Statements- Neal McGrath reported
that as of the end of February the treasury had a balance of $2,608.
- Fun Fly-
Final preparations were made for the April 10, 2010 Fun-fly.
It was concluded at the February meeting that the format would be
similar to prior years and would be open to Tri-County members and their
families.
- Civil Air
Patrol (CAP) –At the February meeting a proposal was made that we
make our instructors available to help train CAP members with the
expectation that no later than their third lesion that they join both
the AMA and Tri-County Flyers.
In addition, Tri-County will offer CAP members a discounted first year
membership fee of $10. At the March meeting this proposal was voted on
and approved.
New Business:
At a previous meeting Ken Whitfield
indicated that he had a contact in the landscaping business that was willing
to mow the flying field for an amount less than the $50 that the Club was
currently paying. Ken indicated
that this individual had offered to cut the field for $40, an annual savings
of approximately $180. It was
voted on and approved to accept the offer to mow the field for $40.

Meeting- The next meeting will be held at 6:00pm on Thursday April 1st
at the
Anderson
County
Airport.

2010
Dues – 2010 dues were due January 1, 2010 and payable now.
Dues for individual and family memberships are still just $30
