Meeting Minutes

New members:  None.

Old Business:

• Minutes- A motion was made and seconded to approve the minutes of the April 2, 2009 meeting as previously distributed.
• Financial Statements- Neal McGrath reported that the Club treasury had a balance of $2,531 at the end of April.

• Snow Birds over Anderson- Jim Farley went over the final preparations for the Clubs participation in the Snow Birds over Anderson air show.

New Business:

• Gold Leader Club – As indicated in a previous meeting, Jim Farley received a letter from the AMA confirming our continuing status as a Gold Leader Club. Those members that not get a Gold Club Status pin should contact Eric Walker.
• Gravel for Entrance to the Flying Field – Jim Farley indicated he had asked Anderson County Council member Tommy Dunn if the County would provide gravel for the entrance (County right-of-way) to the flying field.  Mr. Dunn indicated that he thought the County could provide the gravel but he did not indicate a time table.
• Bringing Molders Together.   Jim Farley briefly went over a new membership drive promoted by the AMA that included rewards for achieving certain levels of new membership.

Announcements:

·        Next Meeting- The next meeting will be held at 6:00pm on Thursday June  4^th at the Anderson County Airport.

·        Joe Nall begins May 15^th.
