New members:
New member,

the club. Existing club members are encouraged to
introduce themselves as soon as possible.
Old business:
.
- A motion was made and seconded
to approve the minutes of the August 2, 2007
meeting.
- While everyone agreed that
Tri-County’s participation in the Big Boy’s Toy
Show was a success there was a general discussion
as to how we could improve the show next year.
The following suggestions were considered:
- Get all of the
planes off of the ground
- See if we can
get AMA involvement
- Consider
having a group of Club members at
the flying field so those
interested could see a flying
demo
- Start earlier
to see if we can get magazines or
other giveaways
- Consider
having our fun fly the following
Monday and inviting anyone at the
show who is interested
- Have a map to
the flying field
- Consider
preparing bios for the planes
similar to what Ed Gardner had
for his planes
- Consider
having a voting for best in show
- Consider a
table that shows the accessories
necessary to get started
All of these suggestions will be considered prior to
the next show.
New Business:
- Neal McGrath reported that for
the month August the Club had cash expenses of $28
related to the Big Boys Toy Show leaving a balance
of $2,082 in the Club treasury.
- It was decided that we would
get a new batch of hats to sell to club members.
John Solon agreed to get the hats.
